CYCLING 2 DAYS MEKONG

Day 1: Sai Gon-Tien Giang-Vinh Long(L,D)
Start the trip by car to the Tien Giang province.Start cycling along certain paths to get insight pineapple plantation, man-made canals and rice fields where you will see farmers crop the land with their rice and pineapple.The cycling is mainly on off roads around 5km, which bring you authentic feeling and then we cycle in to the village under the shaded trees.Travel by car to Vinh Long.Stop for lunch and relax at a lovely restaurant with lots of delicious traditional cuisine.Your private car picks us up from the restaurant and takes you back to your home stay family.You can even choose to cycle back (about 2 hours ) to get to the home stay which is located on a small island at Vinh Long.Here you will have time to get acquainted with the hosts and take part in a small cooking class.
Cycling distance : 35-55 km.
Day 2: Vinh Long-Long An-Sai Gon(B,L)
Take a boat trip to visit a local floating market to see how the local people live and earn their living on boats.Come back to your homestays family and enjoy breakfast.
Cycle around the village(about 2 hours) and find out more about the live of the local people on the island.Then go back to Natinal Highway where your car will pick you up and take you to Tien Giang.Have luch at local restaurant and relax.
The car will pick you up the the restaurant and take you to My Tho.There you continue your cycling trip ( around 2 hours ) to Tan An town.Going throw the extensive and strange –looking Dragon Fruit Farm will be a memorable experience.

Our Bikes
We generally use Trek mountain bikes as they have high quality, durable pieces of equipment.However, we also use others kind of bike depending on the grade of the tours and places.Please be advised that a certain frame model is not guarantee.
We prefer the Trek mountain bike as it has been special designed to deal with different types of road and riding.Even on a our roadtrips, the asphalt can often be broken or potholed, and there are usually unsurpassed sections included, so mountain bikes are the most suitable.The bike has 24 and 27 gears, which you can change easily when padding up hill or down trails.
As the case of soft cycling in the country side, where the road is paved and flat, we general use simple Jananese pushed bikes.Bike Sizes
We provide mountain bikes on all our tours.Available sizes are 15”( 38 cm ),17”( 43 cm), 19” (48 cm) and 21” (53 cm).If you normally ride a mountain bike you simply need to tell us its size.If you are not sure, have a look at the table below for our suggestions.
